Light The World
One Person at a Time

28.2 percent of families in the United States live in poverty? Most of the residents living in poverty suffer from traumatic brain injuries, mental health disorders, domestic violence, childhood assault, and a few are cancer survivors due to living in toxic environments. Statistics have proven when men, women, and children’s basic needs are met, they are more likely to become healthy members of society. MPowered Community Services certified mentors addresses the needs of men, women, and children living in poverty through our mentorship program. The program includes brain health optimization which assesses biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that influence their wellbeing. We create individualized health plans (nutrition, supplement, and exercise).  Throughout the program we provide families housing assistance, mentor in financial literacy, education goals, career planning, provide all basic living essentials (including food, clothing, hygiene essentials), and toys for youth to promote learning. Our intention is to optimize brain health and healthy living.  When someone is healthy in every area of their life, they are more likely to function at an optimal level.
